Born at 06.10.1952 in St.Goar, as the son of the pharmacist Hermann Meyer and his wife Ilse, born as Walter.


School time:
1959 - 1963  primary school in St.Goar
1963 - 1972  High School in St.Goarshausen ending with the Abitur

Study:
1972 - 1977  mathematics study at the university in Mainz with conclusion as diploma mathematician
(Diploma-thesis: Generalized Poisson Integral as a broken power of an nonnegative operator and functions of Besov-Spaces)


My older brother Gerhard wanted to take up 1977 the pharmacy study in Marburg, in order to take over the paternal Rheinfels-Pharmacy later. At 11.04.1977 my brother drowned in a rudder accident on the Rhine. Because my mathematics study came to the end, I decided to start a pharmacy study, in order to possibly take over the task of my brother, what also happened later.

1977 - 1980  study of pharmacy at the FU Berlin (5 terms)
1980 - 1981  continuation of the pharmacy study at the university in Mainz
1981 - 1982  practical year in the Rheinfels-Pharmacy St.Goar
01.09.1982  Approbation as a pharmacist


          

Occupation :
Okt.82 - Jun.83 employment as pharmacist in the Hildegardis-Pharmacy in Bingerbrück and then in the Roses-Pharmacy in Emmelshausen.
01.08.1983  assumption of the Rheinfels-Pharmacy from my father in St.Goar.
1990           changing of the Rheinfels-Pharmacy from Heerstr. 59 into the city center to Heerstr. 91.
15.01.1997  sale of the Rheinfels-Pharmacy.
Since this time privat man with activities in shares, software, internet pages and administration and renovation of real estates.

Family :

18.12.1987 marriage with Suwanna Khieokhampan (from Thailand).  1988 and 1995 birth of two sons.
